A contemporary perspective on Renaissance art, this lever handle embodies the contrast between raw craftsmanship and refined design.
Its form echoes the chiseling tools used to shape stone and marble, while its soft, subtle curves offer a beautiful tactile experience and sophisticated aesthetic.
Inspired by Michelangelo’s era, the handle’s length—150.8mm—references the year he began work on the Sistine Chapel, with MDVIII engraved on the underside to honour this legacy.
The split finish design allows full customization: choose contrasting finishes for boldness or a single tone to highlight the intricate inlay surround. For a unique touch, opt for bespoke inlays such as marble or timber, creating a striking and personalized statement piece.
For a softer lever design with no inlay, explore the LV1219.

RB-54 BEARING ROSE
Stainless steel roses with sealed ball bearings, for optimum performance.
The RB-54 bearing rose brings smooth, positive and flawless operation while addressing all the common door knob issues. The RB-54 bearing rose is our preferred option to be used with all door knobs.
BASIC ROSE
Flat aluminium rose, that may have to be used in some situations where the Grip Tight, Self-centring, Sprung Bearing Inner-Rose System cannot be accommodated, for example, thin metal doors.
This rose option is not our preferred rose to supply with lever handles or door knobs, it does not offer any of the properties and or performance of the grip tight or sprung rose designs, and operation of the handles are purely down to the strength of the lock and highly accurate installation.
FIXED ROSE
Stainless steel roses with TIG-welded fixed spindles.
A highly durable fixed rose for use where a lever handle or door knob is not required to turn, or rotate but is needed to be installed in a push/pull application, e.g. when used in conjunction with a magnetic catch on a cupboard door.
HSTO BEARING ROSE
Stainless steel single sided rose with TIG welded spindle with bearing for smooth operation, designed for lever handles and door knobs.
The bearing rose to bring smooth, positive and flawless operation while addressing all the common door knob issues. To be operated from one side of the door by the use of a single door knob.
Finish Types
If you're wondering which finish type to select, here's the key difference: living finishes gently patinate and change over time, ageing gracefully, whilst ageless finishes are either naturally unchanging, or boast a protective ceramic coating which mean the finish stays consistent.
Your selected primary finish will be applied to the main body of the lever handle, with the secondary finish applied to the brass inlay.
