Metal Polisher

Metal polishing is a skilled and specialist role, essential to achieving the exceptional finish expected of Joseph Giles products. Apprentices will train to use both hand and power tools across a wide range of components, with strong attention to detail to ensure a flawless finish suitable for the luxury residential projects we supply worldwide. Training includes operating and setting up polishing and finishing machines, as well as gaining general engineering experience such as using lathes, mills, and assisting with product assembly. The role is physically demanding, requiring time on your feet and hands-on work, so candidates should be enthusiastic about engineering and craftsmanship, motivated, good problem-solvers, effective communicators, and keen to learn. Supply Chain Manager

Based in Crawley, this is a senior position responsible for managing procurement and inventory functions, ensuring the supply chain is secure and aligned with business growth. The ideal candidate will come from a manufacturing background, ideally within a project-based environment, and will have experience overseeing supply chain strategy, supplier relationship management and forecasting. This is a strategic, high-impact leadership role, rather than a transactional procurement position. Key responsibilities include: developing and executing an integrated inbound supply chain strategy, leading supplier sourcing and risk mitigation, reducing lead times and improving quality, managing working capital and inventory strategy, and developing the procurement and stores teams. Production Manager

This is a high-pressure production manager role at the sharp end of luxury manufacturing, overseeing the delivery of precision architectural hardware where tolerances are tight and expectations are uncompromising. They will take control of a complex, hands-on operation across manufacturing, assembly, finishing, and despatch, ensuring every order is delivered on time, on budget, and without compromise.
