The Walter Gropius handle is a design we have always admired and we love it for its solid and simple grip. That’s why we started with a cylindrical shape when we designed the Montgomery range.
We sought to keep the lines as clean and simple as possible, which led on to the idea of a clasped stem, thus keeping everything about the handle cylindrical.
On the back of the success of the LV1108 with its delicate circular motifs at each end of the handle, we experimented with different textures on the grip of the handle and finally settled on a fine diamond knurl for the LV1142.
Supplied with our unique anti-wobble, anti-droop mechanism.
