This euro profile escutcheon plate is designed to suit classic interiors and lever handles and door knobs on a square rose. It shrouds the eurocylinder cut out, protecting the door and complementing the main feature (lever, knob or door pull) for a flawless finish.&nbsp;

Barrel Thumb Turn

Our thumb turns are made from finest grade solid brass and are hand-finished in all the standard Joseph Giles finishes. Thumb turns are used in conjunction with a privacy lock &amp; an emergency release (each supplied separately) and are usually installed on a hinged WC/bathroom door. A thumb turn is fitted to the inside of a WC door and is twisted clockwise to engage a privacy lock and anti-clockwise to disengage a privacy lock, whilst an emergency release is installed on the outside of the door and can be used in the event of an emergency to open the door. They are supplied as single items with an inner rose, a decorative cover rose, the necessary fixings and a 5mm square spindle.
