The Edwin range is inspired by the Brutalist architecture movement of the 50s-70s. Brutalism often involved heavy, block like shapes made with strong materials in order to create buildings that were sturdy in look and design, yet that still had an air of unconventional beauty to them.
One such building is the Trellick Tower, designed by Ernő Goldfinger, and situated in the distinguished district of Chelsea. It was completed in 1972 after the Greater London Council commissioned it, bringing a new stark style to the classic aesthetic of the neighbourhood.
