The Ashworth collection pays homage to the form and function of the Bauhaus movement. Its founder, Walter Gropius, designed a lever handle in the 1920s which epitomises Bauhaus principles, and remains a popular choice in design schemes today.
Whilst remaining faithful to the original concept, we've made some aesthetic changes to bring the design up to date, including modifying dimensions to suit modern doors, and evolving the design into other products, including this shower door pull handle designed to deliver fully co-ordinated hardware for the bathroom.
If you're wondering which finish type to select, here's the key difference: living finishes gently patinate and change over time, ageing gracefully, whilst ageless finishes are either naturally unchanging, or boast a protective ceramic coating which mean the finish stays consistent.
Details
This pair of solid brass Ashworth shower door pull handles is supplied with fixings that will suit 10-12mm thick glass and nylon washers to ensure that the glass is not damaged. The pulls can be installed vertically, or horizontally for dual purpose as a towel rail.
We do not recommend using our shower fittings in our living or copper finishes (DBZW, MABW, BBW, PBW, BCO, and PCO) because they can be damaged if exposed to certain soaps and cleaning products.
