A considered development of part of the former IBM tower, the final masterpiece of architect Mies Van Der Rohe.

The Langham Hotel in Chicago was developed by Richmond International, creating a new luxury hotel in the heart of the city that respects the original architectural style of the famous building.

Winning several awards for the project, including Best Hotel Interior for the Americas and a Hospitality Design Award, Richmond partnered with us in the supply of the interior hardware.  The focus was on cooler finishes, with the final selection across all the hardware being satin and polished stainless steel, and our signature Dark Bronze Waxed (DBZW) finish.

The hardware selected emphasised clean lines, featuring the Holmes collection, including cabinet handles and pulls, lever handles with matching thumbturn and release and the same lever handle design on a backplate, and garment hooks.  One of the stand-out pieces we provided was the original 600mm long Cut door pull with an American walnut timber insert – a truly beautiful and luxury finish.
