A warm country home designed by Marlies Depoortere.

There is a clear contrast between warm and cool tones across this property in the town of Arendonk in Belgium, rendering it perfect for two of our equally contrasting finishes: Mid Antique Brass (MABW) and Polished Nickel (PN)

Designed by Marlies Depoortere with a focus on materiality, the warm wood tones, marble countertops and terracotta tiles sit against the glossy kitchen tiles and cooler-toned stone floor.

Our hardware is featured throughout the property, from cabinet pulls and door knobs from the more traditional Buckland collection, and our much-loved Buxton cup handles, to the more contemporary round edge pulls and recessed door pulls.

The finish selected for the hardware fitted to the more traditional timber joinery is the beautiful Mid Antique Brass, which complements the depth of the palette well.  In contrast, Polished Nickel was selected for the hardware in the bathroom, fitted to lighter cabinetry and doors, complementing the furnishings with its more reflective finish.
