This brushed brass has a hand applied antique effect treatment which is then finished with beeswax. To achieve this, the craftsmen apply a chemical treatment which adds a colourant. This process is undertaken several times to achieve the required depth of colour. The piece is hand polished and worked back to the metal to achieve an aged antique look, which is then sealed with wax.
