Darlington Recessed Pull with Emergency Release

This recessed pull and privacy release are made from the finest grade solid brass and are hand-finished in all the standard Joseph Giles finishes. This product is not suitable for doors less than 44mm thick.

This product is used in conjunction with a sliding door privacy hook lock and a recessed pull with privacy turn (each supplied separately) and are usually installed on a sliding WC/bathroom door. The recessed pull and emergency release normally used in conjunction with this product is SF1097.TT. 

A thumb turn is fitted to the inside of a WC door and is twisted clockwise to engage a privacy hook lock and anti-clockwise to disengage the lock, whilst an emergency release is installed on the outside of the door and can be used in the event of an emergency to open the door.

This product also comes with discreet ergonomic finger pulls to make operating the product comfortable and easy. 

This product can be fitted with our innovative hidden screw solution or it can be bonded into the door. We have introduced the hidden screw solution to allow ease of maintenance over the lifetime of the product. The screws are neatly concealed behind a magnetic cover plate that can easily be removed with a small screwdriver. You can also bond this product to the door. It has passed an installation strength test when fitted with Evo-stick mirror adhesive, however we would advise carrying out your own tests prior to installation, as Joseph Giles have not tested this products and these adhesives on every possible door substrate.
