Roland is inspired by the lightbulb, a form that is both aesthetically pleasing, as well as functional.
This innocuous everyday object, while often taken for granted, is wonderfully tactile and a perfect shape and size for a door knob. We have changed the form slightly, elongating it so it appears to reach out from the door and invite the hand to use it.
