Inspired by the use of arches in architecture, the Maurice range takes its name from the stunning contemporary addition to the Gothic cathedral of Angers, La Galilée de Saint-Maurice d’Angers, by architect Kengo Kuma.
For centuries, architects have graced their projects with oval arch details, often integrating them into the facades of buildings to provide a soft and calming entrance. With the Maurice range, we are hoping to bring some of the graceful and versatile influences of oval shapes into the finer details of interiors.
