Which Rose Option is Best for My Door?
Ironmongery can be a minefield to navigate, with a huge range of different functionalities available, depending on your requirements. Here’s a quick overview of the different types of rose options we offer for lever handles and door knobs, and the applications they have been designed for.

Basic Rose (BASIC)
Flat, surface-mounted aluminium rose plate
For use with lever handles or door knobs
May need to be used where it is not possible to use a recessed rose mechanism – for example, on thin frame metal doors
Not recommended for areas where aesthetics and high performance are important, as operation is heavily reliant on latch springing and quality of installation.
Fixed Rose (FIXED)
Stainless steel rose with TIG welded fixed spindle
For use with lever handles or door knobs
Designed for application when the handle is required to be used in a push/pull operation, rather than to operate a latch
Suitable for a minimum door thickness of 25mm
