A remarkable piece of engineering that sits concealed within the door, never protruding more than 6mm, and ensures that the lever handles sit perfectly level and do not wobble.

Our Services
The Joseph Giles experience
DESIGN & DISCOVERY
We begin the project process with a consultation to capture your requirements and to scope out the initial design concepts, potential finishes, timeframes and budgets.
Technical Scheduling
Our team of ironmongery experts carry out detailed analysis of floor plans and design documentation to pull together a ironmongery schedule. This may involve a workshop meeting, site surveys and sharing compatibility advice between the joinery details and hardware.
Production
With the finalised hardware schedule approved and, if relevant, bespoke product designs signed off and delivery locations and timings agreed, your order will be placed so production can begin.
Aftercare
During the delivery of your project, our team will be on hand to support with any questions and challenges that may arise. Our experienced joiners are also able to attend site to provide advice.

Cube & Leather
Carefully handstitched by leather craftsmen, the introduction of a bridle leather grip is a slightly softer iteration of the original Cube lever handle.Cube
While there have been many imitations of the Cube, we are proud to say that it is truly ours and is ingrained into our history. Its success undoubtedly had a part in shaping the direction of the business, and today we have an unrivaled collection of beautiful hardware and remain focused on innovation and design excellence.Holmes
The Holmes design demonstrates a perfect blend of form and function; the overall look is delicately balanced whilst the functionality is reassuring and solid.Alexander
The style of cutlery that inspired us was the Grecian pattern, with its 'cut-off' corner style and single bevelled edge, first designed and made in Sheffield in 1929.Adelphi
An excellent example of neoclassical design in London is the Adelphi Buildings in Westminster, which inspired some of the architectural details throughout the Adephi collection.Granville
Based on a traditional skep - a straw or wicker beehive - the geometric ribbing creates a timeless finishing touch. Joseph Giles has achieved this traditional shape with modern manufacturing methods in order to provide a greater consistency to its look and texture.Cove
As an island nation, there is an undeniable, almost instinctive pull that draws us to the sea. Our Cove collection draws inspiration from the stunning diversity of the British coastline, from the towering white chalk cliffs of Dover to the breathtaking Scottish Highlands and Cornwall’s secluded coves. Capturing the rugged, natural beauty of the uncomplicated pebble, we have strived to embrace its simplistic form, using traditional hand-casting methods to create a texture that is unique on each piece we make.Archibald
It combines form and function harmoniously in its design, with a smooth chamfered edge for the most comfortable user experience.Theodore
We liked the round detail on the end of the handle so much that it inspired us to design a range of door hardware with the same accent, hence the Theodore collection.Montgomery
We sought to keep the lines as clean and simple as possible, which led on to the idea of a clasped stem, thus keeping everything about the handle cylindrical. The choice of tactile diamond knurl and linear knurl textures make this a statement collection.Bartlett
Circles have played an important part in architecture across many different buildings, and in many different forms. Whether it be a domed roof, circular window, ceiling rose, or an arched doorway, the list goes on.Contour
With the shared principle of striving for perfection through design, we collaborated with 1508 to develop this beautiful new collection. Taking inspiration from Michelangelo's works, the handle itself resembles the tool used to create intricate contours on stone and marble. The resulting form is carried across all the pieces in this collection, making for a truly simple and ergonomic design across the cabinet pulls and T-bar.Fonteyn
The delicate form and perfect balance of our Fonteyn design are synonymous with that of a ballerina, hence this design is fittingly named after Margot Fonteyn. Her supreme command of ballet earned her the status of Prima Ballerina Assoluta, as appointed by the Queen; cementing her as an icon of elegance and agility.KH Clasp
Details like this would pass most people by, however, the way the material and texture is enhanced by the clasp, along with the neat line that displays the lace beneath the metal, is exactly what drew Kelly's attention.Dewhurst
The cascading effect, created by the stepped detail, is our interpretation of the layered shapes that characterised this period of design. The result is a striking handle which creates texture and interest.Bedford
With its classic T-bar design, the Bedford still remains a popular choice for those wanting a contemporary style with a bit more warmth and texture.Arrieta
Another source of inspiration were the incredible juguetes del viento (giant wind toys) by Spanish artist César Manrique on his home island of Lanzarote. Arrieta is the name of the village where the first of Manrique's dynamic installations was commissioned in 1992.Remmington
From the 16th Century to World War I, many men carried one of these practical accessories, fastened with a delicate chain often looped through the buttonhole on a waistcoat. Whilst their popularity waned with the introduction of the wrist watch, they remain a symbol of class and elegance today.Harrison
It was our first foray into what we call contemporary Deco style. Combining straight lines with subtle Art Deco detailing, the design incorporates a gently rounded back to the handle for a more comfortable grip.Scala
Scala, the Italian word for stairs, was adopted as the collection's name, owing to the main feature of the handle: the stepped detail. Two finishes were introduced to highlight the dramatic impact of the pieces, which was inspired by both the geometric schemes of Italian architect Carlo Scarpa, and the intricate jewellery designs of Malaika Carr.Organo
The organically-shaped pieces are available in four unique finishes: Light Bronze, Dark Bronze, Old Silver, and Old Green.Bailey
The Bailey design demonstrates a perfect balance of form and function; the overall look is delicate whilst the functionality is reassuring and solid. One of our sources of inspiration was the London Underground logo, dubbed the 'roundel', which employs the same combindation of shapes.Velo
Each element is optimized for performance, from the seamless curved rocker to the tactile toggles and embedded dimmer knob all beautifully tied together with the halo design element, inspired by the sprinter's lane, evokes a sense of motion and energy.KH Dot
The initial concept was to showcase the connection between the stem and grip of a handle in a very honest but refined way, using an interconnecting pin. Dot features an etched detail on a sleek, elegant, handle, making a strong but subtle statement.KH Intersect
The interlocking design pairs an angular, rectangular stem with a smooth, cylindrical handle to create a timeless classic.Williamson
Inspired by the beautiful and sought-after aesthetic of the 1920s and 1930s, Williamson will add a touch of Gatsby era exuberance to any interior.Collett Marble
The design team envisioned the collection perfectly cohering with the buildings of pioneering architects of the period, such as Jose Plecnik and Adolf Loos. The completed designs feature the finest marble including White Onyx, Green Guatemala, Red Laguna, and Black Portoro to provide jewel-like finishing touches for the ultimate in luxury design schemes.Rohe
Having been concerned with expressing the spirit of the modern era, Mies van der Rohe is often associated with the famous aphorism, less is more. His advocation for simplicity gives power to the forms and light of an architectural space.Roland
This innocuous everyday object, while often taken for granted, is wonderfully tactile and a perfect shape and size for a door knob. We have changed the form slightly, elongating it so it appears to reach out from the door and invite the hand to use it.Winfield
Made from solid brass and hand finished, the honest and enduring character of the door knob lends an interior a feeling of refined quality. RW Winfield & Co. were one of the first brass foundrys to be established in Birmingham in 1887, and the classic cushion door knob design acknowledges the industry's roots.Buckland
The 19th century movement was both a philosophy and design style which celebrated the fusing of styles such as gothic, medieval and romantic decorations with the use of vernacular materials, distinctive shapes and detailing. The Buckland range features strikingly handsome elongated shapes blended with elegantly curved contouring.Huntingford
This collection was inspired by the shape and elegance of fine menswear, such as cufflinks. Since Joseph Giles prides itself on creating small, but important details, the idea of cufflinks, a miniature but key features in a harmonious and luxury outfit, fits perfectly within this ideology. A beautiful accessory for any luxury design scheme, Huntinford has been created for both function and form, and is a pleasure to touch. Our Bespoke Services
